Our Vision
Through our various social programs, SDC hopes to provide a safe environment for children of all abilities to learn and confidently express themselves while having fun. Of the many key elements that our programs aim to focus on, the five main focuses of our programs are:
Creativity
Guiding children with special needs to participate in various musical or artistic activities to foster creativity in a safe environment is one of our most significant goals through our programs. Our highly qualified teaching team is always working hard to provide unique and fun activities that are enjoyable for all our participants!
Confidence
SDC aims to encourage children with special needs through our programs to gain confidence in themselves. By facilitating and maintaining a comfortable environment for participants, we hope they are able to understand that regardless of their ability, they are loved and respected for who they are.
Self-Expression
Through guidance at our programs, SDC strives to provide more methods for children with special needs to express their thoughts and emotions. In our programs, our teaching team uses art or music as a medium that participants could use to express themselves!
Spontaneity
Guiding children to feel confident about themselves and their abilities, SDC also aims to build spontaneity through various activities in our music and art programs. With our programs, SDC’s goal is to equip each participant with the strength to pave a path for themselves and unlock abilities that they never knew they had.
Awareness
SDC hopes to guide children from all backgrounds to become more aware of their abilities and their environment. Many parents of our past program participants mentioned that they noticed their child was “better able to focus on one task at a time” after participating in our programs!
